1. Sumpu Castle Park –
- Stroll through the massive moats, stone walls, and reconstructed wooden gates of the castle where Tokugawa Ieyasu spent his final, most powerful years.
2. Shizuoka Sengen Shrine –
- A sprawling, magnificent shrine complex painted in striking vermilion and deep lacquer. It is deeply connected to the Tokugawa family and features incredibly detailed wood carvings.
