1. Zuishinmon Gate & Grand Cedars –

Enter the sacred mountain grounds. Immediately step into a completely different world filled with towering, ancient cedar trees ("Jiji-sugi," the grandfather cedar, is 1,000 years old!).

2. Five-Story Pagoda (Goju-no-to) –

Walk down a stone path to discover the spectacular National Treasure wooden pagoda standing in absolute silence among the massive trees, with plenty of extra time to soak in the mystical atmosphere.

Note for the walk: The stone path can be slippery and includes stone stairs. Wearing comfortable walking sneakers is highly recommended.
